About this role

Nestoil seeks a QHSE Manager in Port Harcourt, Rivers, to develop and implement an organisation-wide Quality, Health, Safety and Environment framework and oversee all QHSE matters across SSDD. The role covers risk assessment, safe operating procedures, QHSE audits, training plan delivery and liaison with management and regulators.

What you would do

• Develop and implement the QHSE management framework across SSDD.
• Establish QHSE policy, plan and drive continual improvement of the QHSE management system.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify risk reduction measures.
• Establish safe operating procedures and ensure QHSE compliance.
• Plan, audit and report on QHSE performance; coordinate Safety and Training Coordinators; participate in investigations.
• Manage third party subcontractors and regulators; ensure QHSE licences and regulatory certificates are up to date.

What they are asking for

• B.Sc / B.Eng or equivalent in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH Certification.
• Member of COREN.
• ISO Internal/Lead Auditor certification.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience as a Safety Professional in Oil & Gas or Marine.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
