A senior FMCG role for a National Sales Manager based in Lagos with extensive nationwide travel. The role leads national sales strategy, builds distribution, and drives revenue growth across food and consumer products.

What you would do

• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Finance and other teams to support product launches and growth
• Coordinate sales forecasts and inventory requirements with Supply Chain and Operations
• Develop routes to market and expand distribution across Nigerian markets
• Recruit, lead, coach and manage a national sales team
• Build and manage distributor, sub-distributor, wholesaler and key customer networks
• Manage key accounts, negotiate terms and maintain customer relationships and reporting

What they are asking for

• At least 12 years of progressive FMCG sales experience, including five years in leadership of regional, multi-region or national operations
• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related discipline
• Experience managing distributor networks, general trade, wholesalers, modern trade or key accounts
• Knowledge of pricing, margins, credit management, collections and sales force productivity
• Experience launching products or expanding into new markets is strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
