National Sales Manager
About this role
The National Sales Manager will lead the national sales plan for Recare’s hair care, skincare, cosmetics and personal care brands and manage regional sales teams from Lagos. The role focuses on growing distribution and revenue and reports to the managing director. It is suitable for an experienced FMCG sales professional with leadership and distributor management skills.
What you would do
- Develop and execute the national sales plan to meet revenue, volume, and margin targets.
- Forecast demand, set quarterly and annual KPIs, and track performance against budget.
- Train and manage regional sales managers, supervisors, and field reps.
- Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, modern trade, and e-commerce partners.
- Expand market coverage in priority regions including Lagos, Abuja, PH, and Kano.
- Work with marketing to ensure in-store visibility, merchandising, and promotional compliance.
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
- 10+ years FMCG sales experience, with at least 5 years in a national or regional manager role.
- Experience in beauty, hair care, or personal hygiene is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of growing distribution and managing ₦1B+ annual sales portfolios.
- Strong negotiation, distributor management, data analysis, and team leadership skills.
- Based in Lagos; excellent English, with advanced Excel and CRM tools.
