About this role
Notify Health is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer to manage data collection, analysis and reporting for its vaccination reminder programmes across Nigeria. The role focuses on hands-on data processing, audits and data quality improvements, and is suited to someone with several years in M&E who can work remotely and handle high volumes of data.
What you would do
- Review data submissions from health workers and field staff and provide feedback to improve record-keeping and photo quality.
- Conduct ongoing audits of programme implementation and produce reports with recommendations.
- Process, clean, and analyse data to support programme evaluation activities.
- Review photos of health records to determine which should go to data entry.
- Oversee digitisation by data entry staff, ensuring timelines and troubleshooting issues.
- Travel to key training days to teach SurveyCTO data collection and data entry using our forms, templates, and processes.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Development Economics, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning or similar data-driven roles in health or development programmes.
- Strong practical skills with spreadsheets, particularly Google Sheets, for data management, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute repetitive data processes with high accuracy.
- Clear and proactive communication skills in written and spoken English; fluency in Nigerian Pidgin.
- Willingness to work remotely with a home office setup including reliable internet and a laptop or desktop; ability to travel up to 10% to implementation sites; familiarity with SurveyCTO, ODK, or KoboToolbox preferred.
