Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Assistant

About this role

A full-time MEAL Assistant who supports monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities for EYN Projects in Borno. The role targets candidates with data management skills and experience in humanitarian settings, working with field staff and stakeholders to improve programme quality and learning.

What you would do

• Develop project monitoring plans and set monthly field targets
• Collect, manage and verify data including GBV-IMS and other project data
• Analyse data and present MEAL findings to programme staff
• Conduct data quality audits and ensure data validity through verification and triangulation
• Support development and documentation of MEAL procedures and reporting systems
• Assist in surveys, evaluations and learning activities and share lessons learned

What they are asking for

• At least 2 years' experience in data collection, management and analysis
• Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, information management/technology, public health, international development or related field
• Experience with GBV-IMS and data management
• Strong computer skills and ability to use data analysis tools
• Good communication skills in English and Hausa
• Experience working with NGOs or implementation organisations preferred
