Modern Trade Sales Representative
About this role
A full-time Modern Trade Sales Representative role based in Lagos, focused on managing sales activities across modern trade outlets, maintaining key account relationships, and driving product visibility and volume within FMCG. The position targets candidates with prior modern trade or retail sales experience and strong negotiation skills.
What you would do
- Implement sales strategies and promotions to grow revenue and market share.
- Build and maintain relationships with store managers and buyers.
- Ensure product availability, visibility and accessibility in assigned outlets.
- Manage and grow sales within modern trade accounts (supermarkets, hypermarkets, chain stores).
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor stock levels and merchandising standards; prepare sales reports and forecasts.

- OND/HND/BSc in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- 2–3 years of proven modern trade or retail FMCG sales experience.
- Valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, organised and target-driven.
