MIS Specialist
About this role
The MIS Specialist role supports data-driven insights and performance tracking for Flutterwave’s Physical Channels unit (POS, Agency Banking, PWBT). It is an entry-level position for early-career professionals, assisting with MIS, transaction analytics, terminal performance, and merchant activity monitoring.
What you would do
- Develop, maintain and update recurring MIS reports and dashboards tracking KPIs such as Total Processing Volume (TPV), Gross Revenue, Active Terminal Percentage and Average Yield per Terminal
- Track Month-on-Month growth and run-rate projections across physical payment channels and help build forecast models under guidance from senior analysts
- Maintain consolidated dashboards for multi-channel merchant deployments to monitor post-onboarding performance
- Conduct portfolio segmentation to track active, dormant, inactive and churned terminals across regions and merchant categories
- Generate weekly At-Risk and Dormant merchant lists for field sales and relationship management teams to drive targeted engagement
- Analyse transaction data across terminal software versions to identify feature regression impacts and monitor mapping accuracy to ensure fee structures align with contracted pricing models
What they are asking for
- 1-3 years of experience in MIS, business intelligence or data analytics, ideally within payments/fintech
- Experience building recurring reporting and dashboarding processes (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL; knowledge of BI/dashboarding tools is a plus
- Working knowledge of CRM and database systems with strong attention to data integrity and governance
- Ability to work with large transactional datasets and translate into clear, actionable insights
- Willingness to learn forecasting methods and scenario modelling
