Mini Van Sales Representative

A leading FMCG company is seeking a Mini Van Sales Representative to work in Lagos on a full-time basis. The role involves mobile field sales from a company vehicle, serving as a travelling brand ambassador, managing customer relationships, distributing products, generating new business, and meeting sales targets within assigned Lagos routes. The position requires safe vehicle operation, stock handling, order fulfilment from the van, and basic cash administration. What you would do

• Navigate assigned daily sales routes to maximise customer coverage and outlet visits.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets in the territory.
• Visit existing retailers and source prospective customers to expand the client base.
• Promote and upsell the company’s FMCG products through consultative selling.
• Monitor and report on local market activities, pricing, promotions, and customer feedback.
• Drive the company vehicle safely to assigned locations and maintain roadworthiness.
• Load, arrange, and secure products to ensure 100% stock accountability.
• Receive and fulfil customer orders from the vehicle, ensuring accurate delivery.
• Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness and report any faults or maintenance needs.
• Maintain daily records of sales, orders, deliveries, cash collections, and stock movements and submit reports to the Sales Supervisor.

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• 1–2 years of proven mobile/route sales or FMCG distribution experience
• Track record of achieving sales targets
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Basic numerical skills for cash handling and record-keeping
• Physically fit for loading and unloading FMCG products
• High integrity, safety consciousness, self-motivation and customer focus
• Practical knowledge of Lagos road networks (Mainland, Marina, Satellite Town, Obalende, Ibeju Lekki)
