Metering Methods Engineer
About this role
A Metering Methods Engineer is being sought for an oil and gas company in Rivers to oversee metering certification, procedures, and integrity of metering systems, with coordination across maintenance and planning teams. The role targets Nigerian nationals with engineering qualifications and relevant experience.
What you would do
- Certify material, tools and metering equipment before site mobilization.
- Assist Head of Metering to update metering manuals and related procedures.
- Maintain meter proving, prover loop calibrations, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage flow rate equations on the DCS after validation and ensure integrity of various metering measurements.
- Coordinate with maintenance, planning and well performance teams on metering activities and spares.
- Prepare SOWs for external metering work and ensure BOM/Functional Location for metering systems.
What they are asking for
- B.Sc. or B.Eng. in an engineering discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in metering or a similar design position.
- Working knowledge of ISA codes, IEC standards, AGA, API.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD; PDMS is an advantage.
