Metering Methods Engineer

About this role

The Metering Methods Engineer will oversee metering activities and ensure certification of materials and equipment before on-site mobilisations, in the Rivers region for IOTA Group Nigeria. The role involves maintaining metering procedures, coordinating with maintenance and planning teams, and ensuring safety and compliance across metering operations.

What you would do

• Ensure all materials, tools and metering equipment are certified before site mobilization
• Assist Head of Metering in updating metering manuals and procedures
• Maintain and update flow rate equations and documentation in UNISUP/DCS as required
• Oversee metering integrity for well test, gas lift/injection, and related systems; propose improvements
• Coordinate with maintenance planning engineers and external contractors for metering projects
• Promote HSE compliance and safety practices among personnel and contractors

What they are asking for

• B.Sc. or B.Eng. in engineering or related field
• 3-5 years' experience in a similar design/engineering role
• Working knowledge of ISA Codes, IEC Standards, and international standards such as AGA, API
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and PDMS (advantage)
