Merchandise Planning Analyst
About this role
A full-time Merchandise Planning Analyst role based in Lagos (Lekki) working with the Commercial team to analyse inventory, sales performance and support product availability and reporting. Suitable for candidates with strong data and Excel skills and interest in retail merchandising.
What you would do
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly merchandise reports.
- Analyse sell-through performance across products, channels and stores.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify stock gaps, excess stock and risks.
- Support campaigns through product availability and performance tracking.
- Coordinate merchandise allocations and inter-store stock transfers based on demand and store performance.
- Maintain accurate sales, inventory and planning data and update dashboards and reports.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics or related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in data analysis, retail, merchandising, planning or related role (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Good understanding of inventory, sales and retail performance metrics.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and time-management skills.
