About this role
Nine Stars Limited in Ogun State is seeking an experienced MEP Electrical Engineer to oversee the design, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems across residential, commercial and building projects. The role targets professionals with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in MEP electrical installation, design and site supervision, and requires delivering high- and low-voltage systems, lighting and power distribution safely and in line with project specifications and codes, while coordinating with other disciplines.
What you would do
- Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematic layouts and technical specifications for building services.
- Supervise on-site electrical installations to ensure adherence to approved designs and quality standards.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, material takeoffs and equipment specifications for electrical power distribution, backup generators and low-current systems.
- Direct and supervise subcontractors, electricians and technicians to ensure safety compliance and timely completion of electrical milestones.
- Oversee insulation testing, continuity testing, load testing and commissioning of all electrical installations prior to project handover.
- Coordinate with mechanical/plumbing engineers, civil engineers, architects and project managers to prevent design clashes and ensure smooth MEP integration.

- A Bachelor's Degree (BSc/BEng) or HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in MEP electrical installation, design and site supervision.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP or other electrical design/drafting software.
- Knowledge of LV power distribution, lighting design, earthing/lightning protection, power generators, and low-current systems (CCTV, fire alarm, access control).
- Understanding of standard electrical codes and safety regulations (IET Wiring Regulations/local codes).
- Strong troubleshooting, project management, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
