MEP Commissioning Engineer
About this role
MEP Commissioning Engineer at Collection Developments. The role involves developing and managing the commissioning programme for all MEP systems across all blocks and estate infrastructure, overseeing testing, certification and documentation. It requires extensive MEP experience, including building services commissioning.
What you would do
- Develop and manage the MEP commissioning programme for all systems across blocks and estate infrastructure.
- Commission and test mechanical systems, including plumbing, drainage, HVAC, water treatment plant and sewage treatment plant.
- Commission and test electrical systems including LV distribution, lighting, power, metering, generator automatic transfer switch, and solar power.
- Commission and test specialist systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and IT and communications infrastructure.
- Produce commissioning certificates for each building system and block upon successful completion.
- Coordinate the witnessing programme with the MEP consultant, the client's representative, and relevant statutory bodies.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- COREN registration preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of MEP experience, with at least 4 years in building services commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning procedures for all MEP disciplines.
- Experience preparing Operations and Maintenance Manuals and supporting Certificate of Occupancy applications.
- Membership of NSE is an advantage.
