Medical Sonographer / Radiographer

Cellulose Medical Laboratory in Abuja is seeking a Sonographer/Radiographer to manage ultrasound and X-ray procedures, equipment, and related quality controls. The role involves preparing patients, operating digital and analog imaging equipment, and conducting radiographic and sonographic examinations. The position serves as the primary radio-diagnostic lead for individual and corporate clients and requires collaboration with other team members and departments. The employer provides laboratory services across hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry and histo/cyto-pathology with automated systems. The candidate will work under the supervision of the Consultant Radiologist and adhere to professional standards and company policies.

What you would do

• Prepare patients for radiographic and sonographic examinations
• Operate ultrasound, X-ray, ECG and mammography equipment
• Select appropriate equipment for procedures
• Conduct radiographic and sonographic procedures
• Proficiently use radiology management and hospital information systems
• Support quality control and quality assurance programs
• Restock supplies on a monthly basis
• Maintain sonologic and radiologic logs and records (e.g., issue, maintenance, expiry, stock cards)
• Maintain professionalism and safety in service delivery
• Collaborate with the medical director and other team members

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiography
• 2 to 5 years post NYSC experience
• Master's degree is an added advantage
• Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria
• Strong computer literacy
• Good soft skills (teamwork, customer care, initiative, adaptability, communication)
