Medical Officer
About this role
The Emel Group in Lagos is recruiting a Medical Officer. The role involves clinical consultations, diagnosing and treating patients, and working with other health professionals. Candidates must hold MBBS or MBChB and MDCN registration, with NYSC completion and relevant hospital experience.
What you would do
- Carry out patient consultations, medical assessments and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage patients presenting with various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement suitable treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies following clinical guidelines.
- Order and interpret relevant laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations.
- Provide prompt initial care for medical emergencies.
What they are asking for
- MBBS/MBChB from a recognised institution.
- Two years post-NYSC clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Valid and current MDCN practising licence.
- Completion of NYSC or exemption certificate.
