A Medical Officer is needed to join Chiron Hospital - ICU & Surgical Centre in Lagos. The role targets experienced medical doctors capable of clinical judgement, patient‑centred care, and multidisciplinary collaboration. What you would do
- Conduct patient assessments and obtain histories
- Perform physical examinations and establish diagnoses
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on guidelines
- Manage acute and chronic conditions and recognise emergencies
- Order and act on laboratory and imaging results
- Document clinical notes, prescriptions, discharge summaries, and referrals
- Monitor patients and ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with consultants, nurses and other professionals
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses and prevention
- Participate in meetings, audits and professional development and escalate complex cases
