About this role
A Medical Officer is sought to join St. Dominic Catholic Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo. The role involves providing medical care, diagnosing and treating patients, and working within a multidisciplinary team in a faith-based hospital setting.
What you would do
- Conduct medical assessments and diagnoses
- Prescribe treatments and management plans
- Admit, manage and discharge patients
- Perform minor medical and surgical procedures as required
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team and respond to emergencies

- MBBS / MBChB from a recognised institution
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council
- Valid practising licence
- Housemanship completed with NYSC discharge or exemption
- 2–5 years post-NYSC clinical experience (preferred)
- Experience in hospital settings or emergency care/obstetrics/pediatrics/general practice (desirable)
