About this role
A Medical Laboratory Scientist is sought by Heritage Kidney and Medical Care (HKMC) in Abuja to perform a range of laboratory tests including hematology, chemistry, microbiology and serology. The role involves ensuring proper handling of patient samples, operating and maintaining equipment, and reviewing test results with accurate records and quality control. What you would do
- Perform laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology and serology.
- Ensure proper collection, labelling and processing of patient samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.
- Review and release test results with accuracy and proper documentation.
- Maintain quality control and records for all tests.
- Adhere to laboratory safety standards and patient confidentiality.
- Support junior staff and contribute to team learning.
