A Medical Laboratory Scientist is sought to join Bioclinix Diagnostic Care Limited in Lagos. The role involves performing routine and specialised lab investigations, reporting results accurately and on time, and supporting the lab’s efficient operation while upholding quality and safety standards. The position requires operating and maintaining lab equipment, managing records and stock of reagents, and contributing to quality assurance activities. The candidate should have a recognised Medical Laboratory Science qualification, current MLSCN registration and practising licence, and possess relevant lab or diagnostic centre experience, along with good analytical and communication skills.

What you would do

• Perform routine and specialised laboratory investigations
• Analyse, validate and document laboratory results accurately
• Ensure compliance with quality control, biosafety and procedures
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Maintain accurate patient and laboratory records
• Manage reagents and consumables and report stock requirements
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
• Support efficient laboratory operation
• Work within a multidisciplinary team
• Uphold professional ethics and attention to detail

• BMLS/B.MLS or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Science
• Current registration and practising licence with MLSCN
