Medical Laboratory Scientist
About this role
A Medical Laboratory Scientist is needed for Raphael the Archangel Catholic Specialist Hospital in Olago, Edumoga, Okpokwu LGA, Benue State. The role involves coordinating daily lab activities, ensuring quality assurance, and carrying out investigations across clinical chemistry, haematology, microbiology, parasitology and serology. The position includes supporting haemoglobin electrophoresis, blood grouping and compatibility testing, operating and maintaining analysers, managing records and supplies, and supervising support staff. Candidates should have a BMLS or equivalent, full MLSCN registration with a current practising licence, and at least five years of post‑registration clinical laboratory experience. Experience with Mindray analysers (BS-230 or BA-88A), lab setup or staff training is a plus, and accommodation is provided.
What you would do
