What you would do

• Collect samples such as blood and tissue from patients
• Prepare and label samples for testing
• Perform routine laboratory tests and analyse samples

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., microscopes, counters)
• Report results to physicians or supervisors and discuss findings
• Ensure quality control and adherence to laboratory standards
• Maintain accurate records and reporting of data
• Match blood for transfusions when needed
• Test for drug levels in blood and manage related procedures
