About this role
Volunteer medical doctors are invited to join Medicaid Cancer Foundation (MCF) in Abuja to support cancer patients, families and caregivers. The role is open to healthcare professionals who want to contribute their skills to cancer awareness and advocacy through the WalkAway Cancer Awareness Walk initiative.
What you would do
- Provide medical expertise as needed for the programme
- Support cancer awareness and education activities
- Participate in planning and delivery of the WalkAway Cancer Awareness Walk
- Engage with patients, families and caregivers to offer guidance where appropriate
- Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to implement outreach activities
- Contribute to fundraising and support efforts for cancer treatment access
