Mechanical Technician III

Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited (NNEC) is seeking a Mechanical Technician III for Akwa Ibom. The role involves performing maintenance work, supporting mechanical engineers, and participating in planning, testing, and execution of maintenance tasks on mechanical components and equipment. The position may be filled by a company employee or a contractor resource and normally reports to a supervisor. What you would do

• Estimate workload and set completion dates.
• Assist mechanical engineers in planning and testing components, equipment and machinery.
• Help prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Participate in on-the-job safety activities and utilise safety tools.
• Review job packs and identify safety issues.
• Execute work as planned and within scope.
• Record technical history as required by the workgroup.
• Provide feedback to improve job packs and execution.
• Request permits and notify supervisor if permit cannot be issued within 30 minutes.
