About this role

A Mechanical Technician - B2C role based in Ibadan, focused on fabricating, installing and repairing equipment to support productive manufacturing operations. The position targets candidates with hands-on welding and fabrication skills and experience in fast-paced production environments.

What you would do

• Calculate material quantities for each job order and obtain supervisor approval
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions
• Maintain safety by keeping equipment in good working condition
• Determine appropriate welding methods based on requirements
• Fabricate jobs according to design specifications
• Operate tools like angle grinders, inspect welded surfaces and align components for assembly

• OND / NABTEB / C&G / WAEC TECH in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of two years' cognate experience in manufacturing, production or FMCG environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
