Mechanical Technician

What you would do
- Inspect and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
- Document maintenance activities and prepare reports on work performed.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (lubrication, alignment checks, belt tensioning, wear inspections).
- Maintain knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate maintenance with engineers and other technical staff.
- Service and repair process and production equipment to minimise downtime.
- Follow safety rules and occupational health and safety standards during maintenance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
