Mechanical Technician

A full‑time Mechanical Technician role based in Apapa, Lagos, responsible for assembling, installing and maintaining mechanical systems, conducting inspections and repairs, and ensuring safety compliance. The position targets candidates with hands-on mechanical maintenance skills to support manufacturing operations at Olam Sanyo Foods Limited.

What you would do

• Assemble, install and maintain mechanical systems and components using drawings and specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical failures using diagnostic tools and systematic troubleshooting methods.
• Perform functional and performance testing with test fixtures and instrumentation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Assemble or disassemble complex mechanical systems for testing or modification.
