Mechanical Project Manager
About this role
Seven Up Bottling Company is hiring a Mechanical Project Manager for Lagos. The role oversees mechanical projects in the bottling plant and involves coordinating with the plant team and external vendors to meet project requirements.
What you would do
- Ensure safety norms are followed on site
- Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to keep project requirements, deadlines and schedules on track
- Understand the technical requirements of equipment, including P&IDs
- Liaise with the Plant Team for stoppages and other project requirements
- Liaise with Plant to fulfil legal requirements
- Review BOQs for mechanical, piping and electrical works and prepare a Gantt chart in coordination with selected vendors
What they are asking for
- BEng or HND in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-7 years relevant hands-on experience in technical project engineering
- At least 4 years’ experience in a beverage bottling company
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; scheduling in MS Projects
- Experience in budgeting and people management
- PMP certification or similar project management certification will be an added advantage
