Mechanical Preparator Engineer

A Mechanical Preparator Engineer is responsible for supervising modification works at site, ensuring proper procedures and documentation, and assisting with maintenance planning and equipment availability for a Nigerian operation. The role supports contractor oversight, analysis of malfunctions, and preparation of scopes of work and preventive maintenance plans.

What you would do

• Supervise modification works at site, including those carried out by external contractors.
• Ensure adherence to COMPANY procedures and that modifications are well documented.
• Prepare scopes of work for approved programmes and ensure necessary procedures, materials and equipment are in place.
• Analyse on-site spare parts stock levels and verify materials/equipment meet specifications.
• Assist in analysing equipment malfunctions and recommend repairs and preventive actions.
• Assist in preparing preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate planned maintenance work.
