What you would do
- Carry out routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and repair extrusion blown film machines and bag-cutting machines
- Diagnose machine breakdowns and implement solutions to minimise downtime
- Inspect components and identify worn or faulty parts for repair or replacement
- Ensure production equipment operates efficiently and safely
- Conduct regular machine inspections, servicing, lubrication and adjustments
- Support machine installation, setup and commissioning when required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report recurring faults
- Work with production teams to resolve equipment-related issues
- Ensure proper use of maintenance tools, spare parts and workshop equipment and comply with safety standards
