What you would do
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Install, assemble, inspect and commission mechanical machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults affecting production equipment
- Support maintenance of mixers, granulators, tablet presses, filling and packaging machines, and other relevant machinery
- Maintain equipment maintenance logs, breakdown reports and spare-parts records
- Participate in equipment calibration, qualification and validation activities as assigned
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety procedures and housekeeping standards
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance and other engineering personnel to minimise downtime
What they are asking for
- OND, HND, or BEng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Approximately 0-1 year of relevant experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or FMCG production is an advantage
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics and preventive maintenance
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals
- Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Preventive maintenance planning
- Technical documentation and attention to detail
- Teamwork, safety awareness and accountability
