Mechanical Engineer
About this role
A Mechanical Engineer is sought by Structured Resource Business Limited in Lagos to support end-to-end solutions for African organisations by coordinating with international partners and managing logistics networks. What you would do
- Improve production processes
- Plan and supervise installation of machinery and parts
- Develop and test prototypes of designed devices
- Design or redesign mechanical and thermal devices using analysis and CAD
- Analyse test results and revise designs as needed
- Implement cost-effective equipment modifications for safety and reliability
- Oversee the manufacturing process for devices
- Solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers

- 5+ years in an Oil and Gas mechanical engineer role
- 8+ years of project management experience
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and drafting procedures
- Hands-on experience with CAM and CAE
- Excellent prioritisation and project development skills
- Solid understanding of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Strong creativity and analytical skills
