About this role

AceRoyal Estates Homes Limited is seeking a Mechanical Engineer skilled in Building Services and MEP construction to support its real estate development projects in Lagos. The role focuses on designing and supervising plumbing, piping, water supply, drainage and sewage systems, and on preparing and reviewing 2D/3D mechanical, plumbing and HVAC drawings. The engineer will supervise HVAC, ventilation, firefighting and sprinkler installations, conduct site inspections for quality and safety, and prepare BOQs, take-offs and technical specifications. The position involves coordinating MEP works from installation through testing to project handover. A background in mechanical engineering and hands-on MEP project experience is required, with proficiency in AutoCAD and preferred knowledge of Revit/BIM and professional memberships as advantages.

What you would do

• Design and supervise plumbing, piping, water supply, drainage and sewage systems.
• Prepare and review 2D/3D mechanical, plumbing and HVAC drawings using AutoCAD.
• Supervise HVAC, ventilation, firefighting and sprinkler installations.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety and compliance with drawings.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, material take-offs and technical specifications.
• Coordinate MEP works from installation through testing and project handover.

What they are asking for

• BSc, BTech or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of direct Building Services/MEP construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, drainage, HVAC and mechanical building systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Relevant site supervision experience.
• NSE, NIMechE, COREN or equivalent professional membership is an advantage.
