Mechanical Engineer

A full-time Mechanical Engineer role based in Ikoyi, Lagos, with Structured Resource Business Limited. What you would do
- Analyse test results and modify designs as needed
- Develop and test prototypes of designed devices
- Analyse and resolve complex problems with manufacturing teams, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers
- Improve production processes and supervise installation of machinery and parts
- Oversee full lifecycle product development from design to implementation
- Design or redesign mechanical and thermal devices using analysis and CAD
- Implement cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety and reliability
- Supervise manufacturing processes for the devices
- Collaborate to ensure design plans meet timescales and requirements
- Maintain clear communication of technical information with stakeholders

- Solid understanding of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics and materials science
- Strong CAD/CAM software knowledge and drafting procedures
- Hands-on experience with CAE and CAM

- 8+ years of project management experience
