What you would do
- Perform complete overhaul and preventive maintenance of diesel generator sets.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and determine root causes of engine problems.
- Dismantle engines and inspect major components for wear, damage, and defects.
- Inspect and replace pistons, piston rings, liners, bearings, seals, gaskets, and other worn parts.
- Check and measure crankshaft, camshaft, cylinder liners, pistons and bearings against specifications.
- Carry out cylinder head servicing, valve grinding, valve clearance adjustment, and related repairs.

- Trade Test/Technical Certificate or OND in Mechanical Engineering.
