About this role
A MEAL Assistant role supporting monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities for EYN Projects in Borno. Suited for candidates with data handling skills and NGO field experience who can work in a humanitarian setting.
What you would do
- Collect standard data for activities and maintain/update databases
- Perform data cleaning, verification, and triangulation for multiple sectors
- Ensure data capture in GBV-IMS and support data analysis as needed
- Assist in developing MEAL standard operating procedures and audit data quality
- Create and monitor monthly field targets and report findings to programme staff
- Support reporting, share findings, and help guide programme decisions
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Information Management/Technology, Public Health, International Development or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data collection, management and analysis
- Experience with NGO or implementation organisations preferred
- Strong English and Hausa communication skills
- Proficiency in computer tools for data analysis (e.g., Word, Excel, statistics software)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, community-based humanitarian environment
