Market Intelligence & Insights Analyst

About this role

Renmoney in Lagos is looking for a Market Intelligence & Insights Analyst to study customer behaviours, market trends and competitive dynamics in the Nigerian fintech space. The role involves assisting with research design, data analysis and reporting to guide product and business decisions, and training is provided since no formal market research experience is required.

What you would do

• Design, script, and deploy customer surveys to measure satisfaction, product usage and market trends.
• Organise and conduct customer interviews, focus groups and usability tests to understand why customers behave as they do.
• Learn to analyse raw data from surveys and internal metrics to identify patterns and translate them into actionable insights.
• Monitor the Nigerian lending and fintech landscape to track competitors' products, campaigns and market positioning.
• Co-create reports and presentations for cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing and Management.
• Support end-to-end research projects that influence business decisions and strategy.

• Experience in customer experience, data analytics, product, operations or related areas is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Renmoney's products, customer base and operations.
• No formal market research experience required.
• Insatiable curiosity about customer behaviour and market trends.

• Comfortable with basic data manipulation tools such as Excel or Google Sheets; eager to learn quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
