Marine Maintenance Planner – FPSO Operations
About this role
The Marine Maintenance Planner will coordinate and plan maintenance for FPSO marine, hull and topside systems, based in Lagos, to support safe, reliable and compliant operations. The role expects a strong marine engineering background with offshore/FPSO experience and familiarity with Classification Society and statutory requirements.
What you would do
- Provide technical guidance and planning support for FPSO marine systems to support safe maintenance execution
- Develop and optimise maintenance strategies for FPSO marine, hull and topside systems
- Plan, schedule and manage preventive, corrective and condition-based maintenance using SAP PM or CMMS; review work orders and prepare detailed work packs with scope, manpower, materials, permits, access and duration; maintain CMMS master data
- Develop and maintain 30-day, 90-day and annual maintenance look-ahead plans; coordinate campaign-based maintenance and shutdown preparation
- Coordinate marine certification activities and regulatory compliance; liaise with Classification Societies and authorities; ensure timely documentation and renewals and compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, NUPRC and NCDMB requirements
- Plan and coordinate marine inspection campaigns and asset integrity activities; manage inspection findings and corrective actions; track safety-critical equipment

- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Marine Engineer Officer certification is highly desirable
- Minimum 10 years of offshore FPSO marine or oil and gas operations experience
- Experience in maintenance planning and coordination within FPSO or offshore production environments
- Experience supporting marine certification activities, class renewals and offshore inspection campaigns
- Strong technical knowledge of FPSO marine, hull, utilities and topside systems; proficiency in SAP PM; familiarity with CMMS platforms such as IPES or Maximo
