Sisa Method Limited is recruiting for a Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer to lead the Ajaokuta Mini Project in Kogi State. The role involves steering the project from active site construction through commissioning, first gas, ramp-up and sustained commercial operation while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance. The position requires building a lean execution team, managing regulators and partners, and owning the project’s integrated plan, schedule, cost, risk and governance. The employer aims to deliver first gas by April 2027, subject to readiness and approvals. This role reports to the board and focuses on commercial strategy, cash flow visibility, procurement controls and safeguards, with emphasis on integrity and results.

What you would do

• Lead the lean execution team and establish clear accountabilities
• Resolve cross-functional issues and build team competence and succession
• Maintain relationships with regulators, authorities and host communities
• Own and manage the integrated project execution plan, master schedule, cost baseline and risk register
• Oversee receipt, inspection, preservation, installation and commissioning of plant equipment from China
• Develop gas supply strategy, customer qualification, pre-sales and offtake aligned with commissioning
• Ensure cash-flow visibility and procurement compliance
• Establish delegated authority and fraud-prevention controls
• Ensure safety and readiness before introducing feed gas or hazardous fluids
• Report to the Board on forecast first gas, critical path, cost, quality, HSE, permits and risks

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in oil and gas, LNG, industrial construction or infrastructure with senior project delivery accountability
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field
• Postgraduate degree or MBA is an advantage
• Strong commercial and financial acumen including gas supply and offtake contracting
• Integrity and safety-first leadership
• Experience engaging Nigerian regulators, government agencies and host communities
• Proven track record of leading projects through construction, commissioning and start-up
• Willingness to work in a lean execution environment
