What you would do
- Develop and execute corporate strategies to achieve business objectives and growth
- Oversee daily operations, financial performance, budgets, cash flow, cost management and resource allocation
- Lead senior management and multidisciplinary teams, set performance targets
- Drive business development, secure major contracts, lead tenders and negotiations
- Build strategic relationships with clients, investors, partners and industry stakeholders
- Oversee contract management, project execution, investments and operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulations and corporate governance standards
- Identify market opportunities and manage business risks and crises
- Represent the company in high-level negotiations, partnerships and industry engagements
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related discipline
- MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred
- 15–20 years of relevant professional experience, including 7–10 years in senior management or executive leadership
- Significant experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Engineering, Marine, Construction or Industrial Services
- Proven track record in corporate strategy, profit and loss management, revenue growth and cost control
- Experience in securing major contracts and business development
- Strong business development network within the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry
- Experience engaging with international oil companies, indigenous operators, EPC contractors and government agencies
- Excellent leadership, financial management, negotiation, strategic planning, stakeholder management and corporate governance skills
