Manager / Senior Manager, Strategy

About this role

KPMG in Lagos is seeking Managers and Senior Managers for its Strategy practice. The role involves leading consulting engagements that develop transformational strategies and implement business solutions across areas such as customer experience, process improvement, digital transformation, and operational excellence. You will manage delivery teams, lead workshops, and present insights and recommendations, while contributing to methodologies and pursuing business development opportunities. The position targets candidates with substantial strategy consulting experience and strong leadership capabilities. The employer provides services across audit, tax and advisory with a focus on helping clients navigate complex business challenges.

What you would do

• Lead consulting engagements to articulate transformational strategies and implement solutions
• Identify changes and recommend customer, process, digital, and operational improvements
• Manage day-to-day delivery team efforts
• Lead workshops and present insights and recommendations
• Ensure high-quality client deliverables and outcomes
• Contribute to development of methodologies, tools, and thought leadership
• Undertake and lead business development activities and value propositions
• Coach and mentor colleagues to grow capabilities and client impact

What they are asking for

• Second Class Upper degree (minimum)
• Master’s degree an added advantage
• At least 8 years of relevant work experience in financial services, technology, FMCG, telecoms or management consulting
• Experience in strategic growth, operational/performance improvement, digital strategy or related areas
• Strong understanding of digital and emerging technologies
• Demonstrated experience leading project teams
• Strong people management and development skills
• Ability to plan and prepare client-ready deliverables
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
