Manager, Right-Fit Evidence
About this role
The role is for a Manager in the Right-Fit Evidence (RFE) unit at Innovations for Poverty Action Nigeria. The Manager will oversee a portfolio of evidence and learning advisory services, supervise advisors, and work with funders, government agencies, and implementers to increase use of data for decision making. The position involves managing projects, client relations, and contributing to RFE strategy and product development. It is part of a global RFE team and may require international travel. What you would do
- Manage a portfolio of advisory engagements for clients’ MEL needs
- Supervise RFE Advisor(s) on projects to deliver tailor-made solutions
- Oversee project finances to ensure outputs meet budget and quality targets
- Advise IPA policy and country office teams on technical assistance engagements
- Design, coordinate and deliver 2–3 engagements with workshops and advisory services
- Serve as primary contact for clients including implementers, funders and government agencies
- Guide multiple project teams to develop evidence, learning and M&E solutions across sectors
- Support new business development and proposal development processes
- Interface with funders and represent RFE/IPA at events when appropriate
- Contribute to RFE thought leadership and public goods production

- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%
- Professional proficiency in Spanish, French or Portuguese (preferred)
- Experience leading project or program evaluations (preferred)
- Experience with qualitative data collection and analysis (preferred)
- Relevant work in low- and middle-income countries
- Prior consultancy or professional services experience (preferred)
- Ability to coach and train others on technical matters
- Project and people management experience
- Familiarity with M&E technology and data collection tools (preferred)
