About this role
A full‑time managerial role overseeing electrical operations in Sagamu, Ogun. The ideal candidate should be proficient with Wartisila and Bergen engines and able to manage substation daily operations and maintenance programs.
What you would do
- Manage daily shift operation of substations including transformers, LV and MV breakers
- Prepare and review daily power reports and equipment operational data
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules for critical equipment per OEM guidelines and ensure implementation
- Respond to electrical emergencies, troubleshoot issues and minimise downtime
- Apply knowledge of motor starters (DOL, Star Delta, VFD) and control systems
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for electrical systems

- Experience with Wartisila engine and Bergen engine automation and control
- Strong knowledge of substations, transformers, LV/MV breakers and electrical distribution panels (MDB, PCC, MCC, SDB)
- Ability to devise and implement PM schedules for critical equipment per OEM recommendations
- Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills in electrical systems
- Familiarity with electrical diagrams, blueprints and motor control systems
- Full-time availability in Sagamu, Ogun State
