What you would do

• Lead day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure trouble-free operation of electrical equipment from crusher to packing plant and power plant
• Coordinate and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance with relevant section heads
• Track stores inventories and consumption regularly
• Coordinate with NEPA/JOS authorities for proper grid power utilisation
• Ensure electrical equipment compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Address day-to-day plant operation problems and focus on energy saving
• Prepare and verify daily power generation and consumption analyses for production
• Escalate any energy consumption deviations to higher authority and take corrective action
• Ensure maintenance work is performed safely and in accordance with OEM recommendations and SOPs
• Oversee and provide guidance to technical staff; enforce accident prevention and health procedures
