A private household in Lekki, Lagos is seeking an experienced male chef for full-time live-in work. The role involves preparing Nigerian and intercontinental dishes, pastries, snacks and healthy meals, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and kitchen presentation. What you would do
- Manage grocery shopping and food inventory
- Minimise food waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety and presentation
- Prepare Nigerian and intercontinental dishes, pastries, snacks and desserts
- Keep kitchen equipment well maintained
- Handle household-related responsibilities professionally
- Respect the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Accommodate special meal requests and meals for guests/events
- Plan menus and prepare healthy meals based on dietary requirements
- Work schedule as required by household needs
