Male Baking Assistant

About this role

A short-term role for a male baking assistant in Lagos (Gbagada) to support daily bakery operations. The position is a one-month contract from 26 October to 15 November 2026, working days Sunday to Saturday as per shift schedule. What you would do

• Assist with preparing ingredients and measuring quantities
• Organise baking materials and prep trays, utensils and workstations
• Wash and sanitise utensils, equipment and surfaces per food safety procedures
• Assist with packaging and preparing finished products for dispatch
• Follow recipes, production quantities and deadlines
• Handle lifting and moving ingredients and equipment safely
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear the prescribed uniform
• Support production of cakes, pastries, bread and other bakery items
• Carry out bakery-related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain a clean and orderly production environment throughout the shift
