Male Baking Assistant

What you would do

• Assist the baker with preparing ingredients and organising baking materials
• Support production of cakes, pastries, bread and other bakery products
• Assist with mixing, weighing, moulding, portioning and other basic production tasks
• Prepare baking trays, utensils, equipment and workstations before production
• Ensure proper handling, storage and labelling of ingredients and finished products
• Assist with packaging and preparing finished products for dispatch
• Maintain a clean and orderly production environment throughout the shift
• Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment and work surfaces per food safety procedures
• Follow recipes, measurements, production quantities and deadlines
• Carry out other bakery-related duties as assigned by the supervisor
