What you would do

• Inspect and maintain electrical installations, identify faults and coordinate repairs with qualified technicians
• Repair plumbing fittings and ensure reliable water supply and sanitation in guest rooms and public areas
• Identify faults in air conditioning and ventilation, arrange servicing as needed
• Monitor generator performance, fuel levels and coordinate maintenance and servicing
• Attend to maintenance requests from guest rooms and departments and ensure repairs meet standards
• Conduct preventive maintenance and develop maintenance schedules
• Respond promptly to faults in occupied rooms and coordinate with Housekeeping before entering rooms
• Inspect building components and ensure safety, secure tools and keep records
• Supervise contractors, verify completed repairs and ensure safety procedures are followed
• Submit maintenance reports and maintain logs of faults, repairs and parts used
