Maintenance Technician - Electrical - Poultry Farms

Sayed Farms Limited is looking for a Maintenance Technician specialised in electrical work to support poultry farm operations in Ibadan, Oyo. The role involves performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring reliable operation of farm equipment to minimise downtime. What you would do
- Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment across poultry farms.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, pumps, fans, lighting systems, generators, and other farm equipment.
- Inspect and maintain electrical panels, control circuits, wiring, and distribution boards.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential electrical faults before they cause breakdowns.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts usage, and equipment faults.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company procedures, and housekeeping requirements.

- OND, HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant electrical maintenance experience, preferably in poultry farms, agriculture, or manufacturing.
- Practical knowledge of electrical installations, motors, pumps, control panels, and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out preventive maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work on-site and respond to maintenance emergencies when required.
