Maintenance Supervisor - Mechanical (Poultry Farms)

What you would do
- Supervise installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of mechanical equipment across poultry farms
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
- Diagnose mechanical faults and coordinate timely repairs of poultry equipment, feeders, drinkers, ventilation systems, generators, pumps and related machinery
- Supervise technicians, allocate duties, monitor performance and ensure adherence to procedures
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical failures
- Ensure availability and management of spare parts, tools and maintenance materials
- Enforce health, safety and environmental standards during maintenance activities and ensure proper use of PPE
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare reports on breakdowns, repairs, spare parts usage and costs
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum of five years' relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in poultry farms, agribusiness, manufacturing or industrial operations
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs
- Experience maintaining poultry farm equipment such as feeding systems, ventilation systems, pumps and related machinery (advantage)
- Ability to supervise technicians, coordinate maintenance activities and manage spare parts
- Understanding of workplace safety standards and maintenance documentation
- Strong analytical, leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
