What you would do
- Coordinate with production and other departments to plan maintenance schedules and optimise equipment performance and utility consumption
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, monitor expenditure, plan CAPEX/OPEX requirements, and implement cost-control measures
- Lead electrical maintenance activities, including inspection, servicing and repair of slaughterhouse equipment and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical faults involving motors, control panels, automation systems, conveyors, and processing equipment
- Supervise maintenance personnel, assign duties, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
- Oversee industrial utilities, including power generation, boilers, compressors, refrigeration, water treatment, pumps, and wastewater treatment systems
- Monitor maintenance KPIs, spare parts usage, utility consumption, and maintenance costs while ensuring safety compliance
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to minimise equipment breakdowns and production downtime

- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in maintenance management
- Experience in food processing, slaughterhouse, FMCG or manufacturing operations
- Extensive knowledge of industrial utilities, electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Strong leadership, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
